In an interview with The Chinese Weekly, Dr Sarah Barber says she believes the most significant part AAB can play in helping to solve the current major problems in the Caribbean is to make a clear statement of identity; embracing difference and self-determination within its administration and extending this to a greater sense of Caribbean unity.
Dr Sarah Barber specializes in the early-colonial history of the Caribbean and her latest book, The Disputatious Caribbean, was published in 2014. She has written several academic articles on Antigua and Barbuda. Her current focus is on the diversity of the Caribbean region and ways in which identities and their variety can be protected in such small islands.
